What do HYIPs really pay? This varies because of the rules they use. Most often the company limits the daily pay which means the balances grow but the payout does not.

So if you dream to earn millions here, I must tell that it is a wrong place. But it can provide you to a certain degree a stable income. So now let's define HYIP. It is usually defined as any investment that brings in a higher rate of interest than your savings account, which at current interest rates is about 4% to 5% per annum.

Well, the truth is - HYIP means:

H – High

Y – Yielding

I – investments

P – Program(s)

Legal HYIP are usually based "offline" and are operated by registered companies. The minimums to get into these HYIP's range from $500 to $10 million and upwards.

Online HYIP's are a completely different thing to offline HYIP's.

Online HYIP's are programs which accumulate money and put investments into high profitable projects. The majority of those programs do not inform their clients about the way they use money as it is considered to be their trade secret, but there are also those that inform their clients about the basic sources of their incomes, and, as a rule, it is a game at the stock exchange FOREX.

Suppose a company pays 10% finder's fees for 1 - 50 referrals and 15% for referrals over 50. The light bulb should immediately go off in your head that they will only pay 10% finders fees. If they do not pay multi-level then they are safer because it can eliminate stacking for higher fake finder's fees.

The key to a profitable hyip investment is just a single word- "diversify"

It means you divide total investment among several different HYIPs so as to minimize risk. Investing in a single program is risky, because if the program collapses, you lose all your money. But if you put your money into many programs, if one of the programs fails, you will still have money in other programs. So by diversifying you virtually decrease the % of lost money in your portfolio.

For example if your total investment is around 500$ then portfolio should include at least 5-10(or even more) different HYIPs. Invest about 50% in long term good old HYIPs and the rest 50% in new HYIPs. These may include – Long term HYIPs are those that give around 1.5% daily and have a good track history over 1 year with good customer support, professional web design, etc. These are real HYIPs and actually pay customers.

The above statement hardly lies; however, you can’t get the whole picture here. But if you are willing to run your money into these programs, you can. However, it is also a fact that the number of investment scams is higher than that of the serious long term investment programs.
